It helps to get rid of negative thoughts and focus more on positive thinking. I have a class where the average is a D- bordering on F, and he seriously said "I guess I just have been doing this type of thing for so long that I forget you guys don't know it, 'cause it's so easy." I just want to be all, "Thanks, teach. So how did you want me to repay you for that kind compliment? A flicking off, perhaps a kick where it counts?" But at least there were good things about your day, like making the friends... I just didn't want to end my comment by saying "yeah I know, that sucks," so I just threw that in there.
